When Miriam Rubin wrote this song, inspired the words from Psalm 118 Min HaMetzar Karati Yah, Anani B'Merchav Yah. This pslam is often translated as:
"From the Narrow place, I call to you,
and you answer me with expansion."

I wrote this song over several years from 2020 to 2024, and I recorded it with Yula Beeri while I was 7 months pregnant.

This song was born from a place of feeling very stuck in my life, and not knowing how to return to my relationship with God. I craved intimacy with God, but I didn’t know how to bare my soul.

This song is a call from the narrow place, from a place that felt stuck & unable to move and grow.
This song is a prayer for an opening into love and trust in life's changes to shape us anew.
This song is a revels how we become unstuck. Life answers our call and creates us anew with the changes.
